My teaching style is based on the 'demonstrator' concept. The demonstrator retains the formal authority role by showing students what they need to know. The demonstrator is a lot like the lecturer, but their lessons include multimedia presentations, activities, and demonstrations.
Demetris Demetriou received his MEng in structural engineering from the University of Leeds in 2013 and his PhD in structural dynamics and control in 2017 . His research interests belong to the general area of mechatronics, structural dynamics, earthquake engineering, control and monitoring. He has teaching experience and over the years has mentored students from high school to university level.
