About Kirsten

Having come from an Engineering background, maths was an extremely daunting challenge for myself through GCSE and A Level, having now come through it I have always had a great sense of pride to calm the most nervous of students and slowly convince them that maths isn’t as scary as what it seems!

About the lesson

Maths can be extremely daunting for those to whom it just doesn’t come naturally, my main goal is to help all students feel comfortable and confident in their abilities through patience, understanding and a calm demeanour!
All my lessons are pre-planned after the first lesson to give students maximum time for learning, all with the aim of getting every question and topic covered. There are no silly questions! With years of experience within the Engineering field, earning a Master's in Biomedical Engineering and now working in industry as well as 3 years' experience tutoring students from all school ages and levels right up to A Level, all students are in good hands!
