About Samuel
Hello,
My name is Samuel, and I am a bridge engineer with a long-standing passion for mathematics and teaching. I first began helping others with maths while I was still in school, supporting classmates with their homework. I found it incredibly rewarding to see someone understand what I taught them and gain the confidence to solve problems independently. That sense of progress and achievement inspired me to continue tutoring.
I began tutoring in Dublin, where I am from, and after moving to Glasgow five years ago, I continued building my experience here. Over this time, I have worked with students across a wide range of levels, including S1, National 4, National 5, and Higher Mathematics, as well as National 5 and Higher Applications of Maths, and Advanced Higher Mathematics.

I offer maths tutoring for students of all levels across the UK. Over the past five years teaching in Glasgow, I have supported students at a wide range of levels, including:

• National 5 Mathematics
• National 5 Applications of Mathematics
• Higher Mathematics
• Higher Applications of Mathematics
• Advanced Higher Mathematics
Through my experience, I have developed a supportive and structured approach that helps students build understanding and confidence. I focus on exam-style questions, enabling students to develop the independence needed to approach and solve problems successfully.
Lessons are available online, where I use my iPad to clearly work through problems step by step, or in person for students based in the Glasgow area.
