Engineering Graduate offering Maths and Science tuition from Primary to Advanced Higher level in Edinburgh.
Methodology
I'm an enthusiastic, kind, hard working and positive individual with a passion for maths, science and problem solving and in helping others reach their full potential.
I can tutor Maths at both primary and high school level up to advanced higher and Chemistry and Physics at high school level from 1st year all the way to advanced higher.
Essentially I can offer tuition for National 4s and 5s, Higher, Advanced Higher, GSCE, A level or even primary school level work.
For teaching I can:
Go through a course in one of these subjects you are currently studying section by section
Or provide more focused help in certain sections of the course that are causing difficulty and require further study to get right or understand better.
Experience
I consider myself a friendly, kind and polite individual with good patience and tolerance and a strong understanding of needs of other people.
I can tutor maths at both primary and high school level and chemistry and physics at high school level up to advanced higher.
Qualifications wise, I have a masters degree in Chemical Engineering (2:1 classification)
I also achieved straight As in my Highers(Maths,. Chemisty, Physics, English and Computing) and hold an A, B and C in Advanced Higher Physics, Maths and Chemistry respectively.
Additionally I also achieved straights As and 1s in my 4th year Intermediate 2 and Standard Grade exams in Maths, English, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Computing Studies, History and German.
I have experience being around and working with kids and teenagers for most of my life. Having grown up with three siblings and having a variety of cousins spanning a fair age range. I baby sit my younger cousins for my Uncles on a semi regular basis and occasionally assist with ensuring homework assignments are completed.
Rates
Details
My hourly rate is £20 per hour.
I require a days (24 hours) notice if a lesson is to be cancelled.
Any less than a days notice and the fee for the lesson will still be required to be paid.
