About Praveena
Hi, I’m Praveena! I’m an Engineering graduate and a working professional with a strong background in mathematics, science, and technology.
I’ve always enjoyed breaking down complex ideas and making them easier to understand. I know that subjects like Math, Physics, and Chemistry can sometimes feel intimidating, so I aim to create a comfortable and encouraging environment where students feel confident asking questions and learning at their own pace.
I’m patient, approachable, and organized, and I genuinely enjoy helping others work through problems and reach that moment when a difficult concept finally makes sense.
I offer Math, Physics, and Chemistry tutoring for elementary, middle school, and high school students in Toronto and online.

I believe Math, Physics, and Chemistry become much easier when students understand the “why" behind a concept instead of simply memorizing formulas. My approach is patient, practical, and tailored to each student’s learning style and pace.
I typically start by understanding where the student is struggling, explain the concept step by step using simple examples, and then work through practice problems together. As the student becomes more comfortable, I encourage them to solve problems independently while I guide them when needed.
With an Engineering background, I enjoy connecting concepts to practical, real-world examples whenever possible. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to build their confidence and problem-solving skills.
My lessons are suitable for elementary, middle school, and high school students looking for support in Math, Physics, or Chemistry, whether they need help understanding concepts, completing assignments, preparing for tests, or strengthening their fundamentals.
