My lessons are structured, exam-focused and tailored to each student’s needs. I begin by identifying gaps in understanding, then explain concepts clearly using step-by-step methods before applying them to exam-style questions and past papers.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes and include active problem-solving, exam technique, and targeted homework with feedback.
I hold a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (2:1) and a BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, with a strong background in A-Level sciences. I specialise in GCSE and A-Level Maths and Physics, supporting students aged 14–18, including those preparing for exams or aiming to improve confidence and grades.
My goal is to help students understand, apply, and perform under exam conditions

Perfect! Leonard tutored me for a few months before my physics gcse. It was because of his clear explanations and well planned lessons that my grade went from a B to 1 mark off an 8 star. He has clear notes and explanations for every topic of the course which massively boosts a students ability to succeed in that subject. I’m certain that a tutor such as Leonard can boost any students grade, as he did with mine

Details
My standard rate is £25 per hour for GCSE and A-Level Maths and Physics. Lessons are typically 60 minutes and are most effective when booked as weekly, ongoing sessions to ensure consistent progress.
I offer 5-hour and 10-hour lesson packs for families who prefer regular support or exam preparation. These are ideal for building confidence, improving exam technique, and working through past papers over time.
The first lesson is used to assess the student’s current level, identify key gaps, and set clear goals, followed by focused teaching. All lessons are structured, exam-focused, and tailored to the student’s exam board and needs.
