I'm Andy, I graduated University of Liverpool last year and I tutor in maths and physics at GCSE level. I tutored many students while studying at university and intend to continue to do so. I try teach the conceptual side of a topic thoroughly before we move onto how to approach questions.
I base my classes on up to date GCSE content, simple explanations to new concepts and comprehensive skill building to approaching questions. As a student myself, I know the stress of examinations and the value of recall of lesson content with a second pair of eyes.
I am looking to give lessons up to GCSE level. I like to give step by step methods to problems if it is not immediately apparent how to solve. I am also happy to use digital content, i.e. smartphones/tablets/laptops to aid the tutoring.
I am an A-level student who just finished his exams. I am currently awaiting my results for Maths, Physics and Biology. Maths = Practice Questions. Physics = Understanding. Biology = Memorization. Obviously you need all three for every subject but thats what it mostly is.
My typical tutoring session begins with a lengthy discussion about the topic where I relate the complex scientific concepts with everyday items or processes that my student will understand. The second part of the lesson is where we work together to sculpt ideal answers to related past exam questions.
I have taught martial arts before, which carried its own challenges, but all of the children that I was teaching really liked my teaching method. i will always show a student what to do at least once and allow them to practice what i have shown them, nudging them and prompting them when necessary if they get the answer wrong and will always go through it again if necessary.
I teach my students all of the content required - I find visual aids/models to be particularly helpful. Practicing exam questions are also a big part of progressing academically! 100% pass rate with all students exceeding their teacher predicted grades.
I am a graduated student from a recognized institutions. I give lessons toh primary, secondary amg higher school students. My technique is simple and subtle with proper examples to make student understand. I am a calm man who can repeatedly make a student understand if he/she gets confused.
I am studying physics at the University of Sarajevo. This way, I would like to help those who struggling with concepts and assignments in physics in order to get a better grade or just better understanding for topic. Because of fact that I live in Sarajevo, I am willing to use Skype or other ways of communication to give lessons and to help you.
I am patient and pushing tutor as I will keep pushing you to perform better however I will not be too demanding and will be understanding if you are unable to complete the work straight away.
My teaching method is to explain to the student, give them some resources like worksheets and questions, and let them have a go at answering the problems. I will assist them when needed, of course but there must be an element of independence in most cases! My simple and excellent way of teaching has never failed and my students never leave the lesson confused.
My teaching is to focus. If your focus all you have to do is to allow the questions float through you head and want to achieve greatness. If a child actually focus everything else comes naturally l. I speak from experience.
I received my masters' of research degree in chemistry from Nottingham Trent University with distinction and have served as a science teacher for 7 years in a college. I use a portfolio of teaching methods including individual as well as collaborative activities focusing on 'learning by understanding'.
I use the communicative approach in my classes, tailoring the lessons based on my students needs and how they learn best.
Establishing the level of the pupils in the field, establishing their motivation, setting a goal and achievable schedule for training
Since I have myself been a student that was examined in these subjects I have first hand experience on how to go about learning and applying that knowledge in the exam. I have taught young students who have faced difficulties in the subjects outlined above and so my teaching methodology evolved to consist of two integral and fundamental parts.
I am an undergraduate student studying Astrophysics in Liverpool. I've been told before that I am a good teacher, and physics is my favorite subject. As far as my credentials are concerned, I have an 800/800 in the SAT subject test for physics and have the equivalent of an A* in my high school physics qualification.
My name is Ali Shubbar, I am Master student studying Civil Engineering at LJMU. I am interesting in give lessons for undergraduate student in engineering and also give maths and physics lessons for secondary school students.
I believe physics can ne taught by approaching each topic individually as it makes it easy to feed in slowly
My plan is to teach GCSE and A-levels Mathematics and Physics to help them to prepare well for their examinations. My goal for them is grade A*. I break down into more steps to explain clearly when I was solving every question.
I am a friendly, enthusiastic tutor who is able to understand and overcome the specific problems the student is experiencing, my tutor sessions will aim to stretch the student to achieve their grade in a low pressure environment on the contrary to how most schools teach their lessons. My students will also learn vital exam techniques to help them maximise their marks and achieve their target grade.
My teaching method is practice, practice, practice. I aim to introduce new GCSE topics quickly and revisit them briefly at the start of every lesson. I try to teach using analogies that students can understand.
I am a first year student at the University of Liverpool I have received an A*A*A in A level maths (statistics and core maths only), biology and chemistry respectively I write lesson plans and exercises and will set mini homeworks in areas that need the most work
I am a medical graduate with a passion for teaching science and maths. I am friendly, patient and have excellent communication skills. - Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach GCSE Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and A level Physics and maths. - Tell me about your qualifications.
Experience of teaching in an outstanding secondary school. Tutorial experience both for undergraduates and A-level.Examiner for two major exam boards. I am a very enthusiastic teacher with a passion for teaching and learning. Relaxed, and providing an environment conducive to learning, engaging and making sure that the fundamentals of a problem are well described and understood by pupils.
I am in italian student, graduated in chemical sciences and technology in 2010 (BSc, 2:2) and in chemical sciences in 2013 (MSc, 1st). I am curretly doing a PhD in Liverpool John Moores University. I have always done private lessons when I was an ungrad, both to keep me trained and to earn some money. I mostly taught to high school students.
I believe in making Physics "come alive". Many times students find Physics and Maths difficult because they are unable to relate it to real life examples and situations. I start off by determing the areas in which my students are struggling and aim at making the content as simple as possible. For revision, I work from past paper questions and approach revision per topic.
I have a very relaxed teaching method, I like to try and make my lessons as fun as possible and encourage questions from my students. I create resources for each lesson that is specific to the individual that I am teaching, I believe that a lesson is much more effective if it caters to the individuals learning styles.
I am looking for students to come to me with specific questions and topics they find difficult. I will need to know what level of study you are up to and why you find it so hard. What teaching methods have(nt) worked in the past.
First thing is getting a grasp of a students understanding of the subject he/she is struggling with. Once that has been determined I make up a plan of action.
