About Adeline
Hello! I am a junior studying biomedical engineering at the University of Michigan. I have experience working with students of all grade levels, as well as students with learning differences. I personally used to struggle with things like time management and effective studying, so I would love to give students the support to find the best way to do that for themselves. I can help you with preparing an SAT score and resume to get into college, as well as help you prepare for any math or chemistry classes you are taking. My biggest focus is tailoring lesson plans to the specific student - often, students are struggling because they are missing individualized learning, and instead trying to learn like everyone else. I can also help you find and fix gaps in more basic skills that might be preventing you from advancing. With me, lesson plans would begin with an assessment of your skills and setting achievable goals. We would also identify what methods of learning are best for you. From there, we would create a plan consisting of lessons in the way that works best for you, as well as written or video supplements. We would then work through problems and writing together, and then assess if you have met your goals.
