I set reading for my students or ask what they would prefer to read. I give my students a writing prompt every week to follow and I give feedback and notes on where they could improve. Then I have them go back and make the appropriate amendments so that they can produce work that is rewarding and that they are proud of.
I am in my final year at Queen’s University currently working on a poetry dissertation. I love reading other people’s work and getting inspiration from the everyday.
