About Noor
I’m a bilingual English–Arabic tutor and a PhD candidate in English–Arabic Translation at the University of Leeds, with a Master’s in Translation. I love helping students gain confidence in English for everyday use, academic studies, or IELTS exams. I create lessons that are practical, engaging, and tailored to each student’s goals. I understand the challenges that Arabic-speaking learners face, and I am here to guide you, answer your questions, and make learning English an enjoyable and effective experience.

My teaching approach is learner-centred and communicative, focusing on using English confidently in real-life and academic contexts. I adapt lessons to each student’s level and goals, with particular emphasis on speaking, fluency, and practical language use. Lessons typically last 60 minutes. I hold an MA in English–Arabic Translation and am a PhD candidate at the University of Leeds, with over two years of experience teaching EFL, IELTS preparation, and academic speaking in language centres and university settings. My lessons are ideal for university students and adult Arabic-speaking learners at intermediate to advanced levels.
