About Elizabeth
Hi! I’m Elizabeth, an enthusiastic English and Literature educator who enjoys helping learners discover that English can be both understandable and enjoyable.
I’m passionate about communication, reading, writing, and helping students express their ideas clearly and confidently. My teaching experience has allowed me to work with learners at different levels, and I particularly enjoy seeing a student go from struggling with a concept to finally understanding it.
I hold a Bachelor of Education degree in English and Literature and have experience teaching both primary and secondary learners, including students preparing for examinations.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading, learning new things, writing, and exploring ways to make learning more engaging. I’m patient, approachable, and believe that every learner can improve with the right guidance, practice, and encouragement.

My lessons are personalised, interactive, and focused on practical improvement. I begin by understanding the learner’s current level, goals, strengths, and areas that need improvement. I then structure each lesson around their specific needs, using clear explanations, examples, guided practice, questions, exercises, and constructive feedback.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, giving us enough time to introduce a concept, practise it together, identify areas for improvement, and review progress. Lessons can also be adapted depending on the learner’s age, level, and goals.
I am an English and Literature educator with classroom teaching experience in both primary and secondary education. I have taught English, supported learners with reading, comprehension, grammar, writing and Literature, and worked with students preparing for examinations, including secondary-school candidates. My academic background is in Bachelor of Education (English and Literature).
My lessons are suitable for teenagers aged 13–18, university students, and adults. I welcome learners from beginner to advanced levels. I can help with school English, examination preparation, English Literature, essay writing, academic English, research and writing skills, spoken English, grammar, vocabulary, reading and comprehension.
My goal is not simply to give you answers, but to help you understand, practise, and develop the confidence to use English independently.
