About Tim

I’ve been teaching English for over 19 years, both at language academies and colleges. During that time, I’ve learned how to make lessons clear, engaging, and suited to each student’s level. As a college lecturer, I taught larger groups and helped students develop advanced language skills, while at the language academy, I focused on practical English for everyday use. For almost a decade, I ran my own language school, designing programmes and lessons for around 90 students per term. This taught me how to create a supportive learning environment, keep students motivated, and help each person reach their goals. I also bring strong communication and problem-solving skills from my earlier work in customer service and office support, which means I can listen carefully to your needs, explain concepts clearly, and make learning enjoyable. Fluent in English and with intermediate Korean, I can explain tricky points in ways that are easy to understand. My goal is always to help students improve quickly while feeling confident and comfortable in their learning.

About the lesson

Hello! My lessons are designed to be fun, engaging, and easy to follow. I make learning English enjoyable by using activities, examples, and real-life situations that keep students interested and motivated. I can help learners at all levels — whether you’re just starting with basic sentences or preparing for exams like IELTS. I focus on building your confidence, improving your speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills step by step, so you can see real progress. Every lesson is tailored to your needs, so you’ll learn in a way that works best for you while enjoying the process. Tim.
