About Shiomi
Hi! I’m Shiomi, a native Japanese speaker who loves meeting people from different cultures and sharing Japanese culture.
I studied English in the United States, lived in South Korea for work, and I’m now in my third year living in Dublin. These international experiences help me understand the challenges of learning a new language and adapting to a new culture.
I love traveling, and one of my most unforgettable experiences was taking a solo trip to India last year. It was such an amazing adventure!
I also worked in the travel industry, so if you're planning a trip to Japan, I’d be happy to share travel tips, local recommendations, and useful advice for traveling in Japan.
My favorite place in Japan is Okinawa. It has beautiful beaches, a relaxing atmosphere, and a unique culture.
