About Isabel
Since 2012 I've been volunteer at the Spanish Red Cross . At the Red Cross, I have been specialized in languages and in dealing with both neurotypic and non-neurotypic children, giving private language classes and helping them to interact better with our world.
I am currently studying Translation and Interpretation in the third year.
I have been fortunate to learn several languages and reach an advancedlevel in them:
English (B2)
German (C2, native speaker)
Spanish (C2, native speaker)
Spanish and German Sign Language

My teaching method is more playful and participatory. For me, learning is the most important and I prefer to remember how I learned with a smile and wanting to continue that the other way around.
I always ask what topics should we reinforce and what points share the most difficult for them to learn. After that, I look for ways to explain and create an environment where learning is fun and the new earned skills are useful longer than just for the exam.
If there is homework or assignments to do, I try that the student solves it, being me a support to facilitate the work.

I charge 12€ per hour.
But the first class is always free, as it is for the student, parents or guardians and me to get to know each other.
In the first class we also see what we will do, if it is to practice the spoken or written form, etc.
I can move within a radius of 10 km, if possible fromVecindario to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
