Course Focus and Pedagogical Approach
Instruction covers a broad range of guitar techniques across Flamenco, Pop, Classical, and Jazz styles, alongside singing, music theory, composition, and music notation using professional software. The curriculum emphasizes practical musicianship integrated with theoretical understanding, enabling students to achieve measurable progress from the earliest sessions.
Composition training follows a structured progression through scales, chord construction, harmonic principles, and formal writing techniques, supporting students in developing original works. A wide selection of popular repertoire in various styles—transcribed with clarity and precision by Amirsalar (El Persa)—is used as pedagogical material.
Teaching methodology is based on a fast-track, results-oriented, and creativity-driven system. Private instruction is highly individualized, fostering technical proficiency, musical understanding, and artistic expression. Students acquire essential guitar skills, including chord vocabulary, arpeggios, fingerpicking, sight-reading, and applied music theory, while also learning stylistic interpretation and performance practice.
Historical and contextual studies are integrated into the program, introducing students to major musical styles, influential composers, performers, and the evolution of the guitar. Students are guided in developing their own personal performance style.
To enhance motivation and ensemble skills, students participate in duets and small group sessions conducted in a quiet and spacious learning environment. The program also includes the organization of student concerts, providing real performance experience.
