About John
When I started teaching I lived in Asia for a decade, and worked in both private schools and universities. I think this gives me a unique perspective to understand students who are trying to better understand a foreign language and the culture connected to that language.
Additionally, I've now been working in both college and universities in North America for a number of years, which gives me better knowledge of what students may need to know when entering Western schools.

My lessons are ideal for ESL students at the college or university level who are looking to improve their overall English skills. Writing lessons can involve hands on editing or essay construction basics. Conversation lessons tend to focus on pronunciation, sentence structure, and improving vocabulary. As for grammar, I try to explain things in a simple way.
