About Alyson
My name is Alyson and I'm currently working in a secondary school in Southwark. I have a degree in English Literature and Creative Writing, and I have worked within education for three years.
Within my job I run English interventions which focuses on preparing children who may struggle, for their upcoming GCSE's. I have three years tutoring experience.

My teaching approach is quite direct and repetitive. I also like to ask many questions, gaging how much information you/student are able to absorb. I also incorporate a lot of colour, creating mind maps ect, as many argue that colour in a classroom environment aids learning.
