About Amna
A graduate from University of Toronto, with a specialist in English literature and currently working on a second degree in Biology, I am dedicated to life long learning, and have the understanding of learning needs both from the perspective of being a current student, and a teacher with experience teaching overseas and online for over six years.

I tailor my classes based on students' goals and interests, so my teaching style is very student centric. I like teaching online so I can maintain such a happy and creative learning environment where there is less focus on discipline and behaviour minding, as happens in school classroom settings. I am always happy to slow down or speed up the pace of my lessons based on cues from students, focusing on lots of practice and confidence building. I have experience teaching young people from kindergarten level to high school as well as adults at a second career vocational college in Canada.
