About Michele
I am an MA in Creative Writing with a BA (Hons) First Class degree in English Literature and Creative Writing. I have also worked as a Content Writer in digital marketing for the last 8 years. I am enthusiastic about passing on my love of writing and literature, from one-to-one GCSE tutoring right up to adult learning.

With a relaxed, positive and friendly approach, I believe that the key to learning is to enjoy it.
I offer one-to-one tutoring for GCSE and A Level students who wish to improve their approach to literary analysis and to understanding difficult or challenging texts, to helping with the creation of compelling oral presentations, and writing essays that engage the reader whilst communicating the key points and - most importantly - helping my students to love the study of literature and reading.
For those wishing to improve their creative writing skills, I offer relaxed one-to-one or group classes for teenagers and adults separately. These involve both reading and writing, with some key points on constructing a beautiful story that is well-written and thrilling to read. We will also have workshopping groups where we can work to improve our writing together based on suggestions in a trusting, safe space.
I will also share relevant writing competitions and other opportunities, such as writers' retreats and workshops with famous writers, with my classes, to help you further your writing career and get you on the path to being a published author or poet, regardless of your level of experience when you first come to me.

Details
I charge a flat rate per lesson per hour, which goes for all my pupils. My rate includes travel expenses within Horsham town and surrounding suburbs. Further afield (i.e. Crawley, Pulborough, Cranleigh etc) will incur an additional £3 per lesson to cover petrol.
