About Ruby
I am passionate about creative writing, and seek to teach the subject to young students eager to develop their writing technique and technical ability. I am patient and willing to listen to student requests to teach in a way most beneficial to each individual. I want to help you reach your full potential in a fun, supportive environment.

About the lesson

In every 60 minute lesson, each student will receive a tailored programme to aid their understanding of literature, analysis skills, close reading skills, and where relevant, creative writing skills.
Lessons will be student led, completing small and enjoyable homework tasks to develop their independent learning, before taking on thorough feedback and working with myself to develop writing techniques. I will also give reading recommendations tailored to the likes of each student, as well as relevant podcasts, to give each student a breadth of material to ensure their best performance in the subject whilst nurturing a genuine passion for it.
Qualifications: grade 8 English GCSE, A English A-Level, currently study an undergraduate degree. Up-to-date experience of the examination process, from 11+ to University application.
