Each session is customized to the students needs so that they gain the best experience from it.
With my tutoring I like to be creative, caring, and approachable, whilst nevertheless aiming to foster a high level of academic attainment. My approach is uniquely tailored to each student, creating a relaxed learning environment that allows a true love of the academic subject to blossom.

I have a wealth of resources but ultimately adapt my teaching to suit the individual student. I hope to be approachable by making the subject fun, enjoyable and interesting in order to help build confidence - and ultimately achieve success.
My teaching method is to focus on one maths subject for as long as i feel until your child is ready to move on. Each child learns at their own speed so they shouldn't be rushed into something when they are struggling with the previous topic.
My name is Reece I have a BA degree in film and TV production. School is stressful especially if you're not feeling too confident in your subject. We can work through it together and make sure that you feel confident when walking into that exam! I won't give you the answers, I will help you to find the answer yourself. It's the best way to learn.
I am an undergraduate English Literature student at a Russell Group university. I can teach skills such as comparative reading, poetry analysis and creative writing to school children at all levels. I teach transferable skills, such as essay writing techniques and both analytical and contextual understanding of texts.
I offer one to one focussed, personalised tuition for children in key stage 1, 2 and 3. My services include: Exam preparation, extra help in English and Maths and confidence building. I pride myself in helping children build skills and develop a resilient attitude to learning. Your child will be assessed and provided with a personalised learning plan.
Students in KS3 and about to start the GCSE courses will find my lessons useful, especially those who have an issue with coming up with creative ideas, I too have struggled with that issue before but thanks to incredible teachers have exceeded expectations. I always go step by step and always end a unit with a response which will be a real exam question marked to the exam mark scheme.
I have experience in primary secondary and Further Education. Over the last ten years I have concentrated on working with children and young people who find studying difficult. My lessons are individual to the you fun and above all meaningful.
I am passionate about enabling students to develop a genuine appreciation of the English language and literature in addition to achieving their full potential. I understand the importance of personalised attention and the difference it makes to a student's chance of success.
I like to study the literature itself and help to give an in depth analysis of what is being conveyed by the author of the text. I will encourage students to look for hidden meanings and metaphors/techniques in structure and language that are often overlooked, and relate their importance to the context and meaning of the literature.
Hello! My name is Yvonne Mitchell. I am a primary teacher who exudes patience and resilience. Together you and I can practise our reading and phonics; we can help each other to spell; we can read and find out information from a range of text genres. We can enjoy writing for fun...Together we can enjoy the written and spoken word. Through our learning, our confidence will blossom.
I teach all aspects of English, including comprehension, figurative language, descriptive writing, story structure, poetry, novels, plays etc. I can tutor anyone from 5 to 50, but I mostly help teenagers with their GCSEs, A Levels, SATs and ACTs. I tutor the three main subjects that people seem to want tutoring in; Maths, Science and English.
I start by listening to both parents and pupils about what they hope to get out of tutoring and it's also useful if I can see a school report. I plan tutoring sessions to be varied, interesting and fun, using a mixture of paper, computer and game based activities. My principal aim is to build my pupils' confidence so that they feel happy to tackle learning with me, at home and also at school.
I try to make my lessons as student-led as possible. I will talk to them and find out exactly what they need and want to work on and will then tailor the sessions they the students feel that they can target their weak areas.
I am very caring and understanding, as I have struggled before at school, in areas other than English. I know how frustrating it can seem for pupils, when they haven't quite been taught method which are efficient for their personal learning, and so I want to help this. I have a good way of explaining various language techniques (GCSE students) or even sounding out words for primary school students.
I believe every child has a capability to reach 100% success, but a classroom situation cannot cater to everyone's needs. No two children are the same and this applies to learning, and through my methods and high experience of working with people and getting an accurate perception of them, I can create a learning programme to fit perfectly to a child.
I am an enthusiastic and committed tutor. To enable learning I use a variety of tools including video, online resources and of course text. Lessons are fun and I am always ready to laugh at myself.
I prepare children for KS1 SATs tests, but my main aim is to make lessons enjoyable and a positive experience so that they want to learn. Many children feel they cannot do mathematics because they have find class work difficult.
I have an inclusive, empathetic, and engaging pedagogical style that is not overly didactic, and which makes the learning style of the pupil and the idiosyncratic way they assimilate and contextualise information the fulcrum of the learning process. I would hope that my passion for teaching is self-evident. If not, I would humbly request the opportunity to prove it.
