About Jasmin
I’m an MA English Literature graduate with distinction, though my background didn’t start there. I originally leaned more towards maths and found literature and languages frustrating and difficult to connect with. It all felt unclear at first, until something clicked and I began to see patterns, structure, and meaning in a way that made everything more engaging and logical.
That shift is a big part of why I enjoy teaching. I understand what it feels like to struggle with these subjects, and I know how transformative it can be when things start to make sense. Now, I specialise in English, world literature, and writing, as well as proofreading, helping students build clarity, confidence, and strong analytical skills.
My approach is patient, supportive, and tailored to you, so you can make steady progress and feel more confident in your abilities over time.

I try to make lessons feel relaxed, supportive, and genuinely enjoyable. Learning English shouldn’t feel intimidating, so I focus on creating a space where you feel comfortable asking questions and developing your ideas at your own pace.
Whether you need help with essays, exam prep, or just becoming more confident in your writing, I tailor each lesson to what you need. With my background, I’ll guide you in building clear arguments, improving structure, and expressing yourself more confidently.
We’ll work through things together step by step, with plenty of discussion, practice, and constructive feedback so you can see real progress. My aim is to help you not only improve, but actually start to enjoy the process too.
The only thing I ask is that you come with an open mind and a willingness to learn. Everything else we’ll work through together.
