About Annelise
I have a MRes and BA in English Literature, both graded at first-class. I have experience teaching and supporting students through my role as a support assistant and note-taker, and an Achievement Coach at a secondary school. I won the Jamie Marshall Award for demonstrating qualities of resilience, compassion, thoughtfulness, fun and supportiveness during my time on the Students in Classrooms, Achievement Coach Scheme 2018-2019. I also have a proven track record for helping students gain the results they want as I tutored students for their 11+ entry examinations, who went on to pass them.

I am a patient and enthusiastic tutor who really listens to the students needs. My approach is finding out what the student knows and what aspects need improving. This often involves working through work books, asking the student what their approach to work is, and implementing a plan of what to work on during and between tutoring sessions. I can tutor 11+, GCSE, A Level and degree level.
