About Amaia
I am a first year-university student of English Literature with a high knowledge of Spanish. I took A-levels in English literature, mathematics, and Spanish and obtained A*s in all three. I have tutored mathematics and English up to a GCSE level and my students have always seen huge improvements.

My teaching methodology is an amalgamation of all the techniques which I have found most effective in my own education. I believe in focussing predominantly on the areas with which the student is struggling most, and with persisting in these areas until understanding is reached no matter how long this may take. I understand that each student is different and so my teaching is adaptable, taking into consideration issues students may have with concentration or grasping certain concepts. I also have extensive and very effective methods of revision which differ per subject (students of mine who have applied these methods have always seen positive results).
