I am reading English Literature at the University of Leeds. I have been working in education for three years as a reading teacher in primary schools and Sunday schools.

My approach to tutoring is centred around creating a supportive and individualised learning environment for each student. Each lesson is tailored to be enjoyable and interactive. I encourage critical thinking and active participation, ensuring that as well as understanding the material, the student feels confident applying it in essays and homework.
Each lesson typically lasts 45 minutes. This time is used to review past lessons, cover new material and answer questions. I do offer flexibility in the lesson duration depending on the student's needs and focus.
I was awarded 9s in both English Lit and Lang GCSE and an A at A level and I am currently studying English Literature at the University of Leeds. I have lots of experience in teaching primary school children reading.
My lessons are for either primary school students or GCSE students. I can tailor the lessons to suit each student's academic needs, whether that be improving understanding in class, helping in completing homework or improving grades in 11+ exams, SAT or GCSE.
