About Emily
I am a second year English literature student at a Russell group university (Exeter) and have tutored friends, family members, peers and other students throughout my academic career. I gained level 8 and level 9 (A* and A**) in English literature and language respectively at GCSE, an A*(100%) in EPQ/written communication at ALevel. I also took my English Language A Level self taught in 1 year and achieved a B as well as a B in literature. I am a second year English student who has consistently achieved 2:1 and First equivalent marks in my modules and essays

I approach teaching/each topic in a student lead perspective. From my own experiences as a student I know its hard to learn and concentrate when you aren't engaged or when you don't like the teaching style. For this reason, I make sure that any method I use to tutor is suited to the individual student and that if it isn't then I can adapt to suit them
