About Liyah
Our lessons will always be tailored to an individual experience and we will always go at a pace that makes sense for the student. Your needs come first. As someone who understands what it is like to learn subjects that may be hard or challenging at first with a teacher that may not always cater to individual needs— I’m aware of the variance in learning types in every individual, and will always work to accommodate every student’s style.
I believe in “no stupid questions” and encourage mistakes because they encourage us to learn. Your ideas and your creativity are deeply valued and will shine through.

Hi, my name is Liyah and I tutor English to help German speakers from ages 10-25 grasp and better understand the ins and outs of the language; starting from elementary grammar and building our way up to complex writing to provide an expansive list of vocabulary and how to use it.
Additionally, I tutor creative writing and essay work to English native students alike— as a writer myself who excelled in high school AP’s and college writing courses; recycling learned techniques and adjusting them to make them my own.
