I am a college graduate and a current MA student in English literature and culture. I love reading more than anything, and my life goal is to work in academia In the rare moments when I'm not engaging with academia, I like crocheting, baking, and playing with my cat, Evie.

I typically use warm-up and cool-down exercises to bookend my lessons. This helps with lesson retention and it helps to get students engaged and ready to learn. I'm a big believer in discussion and open-ended questions as tools for learning, so students can't be silent in my lessons! Every student is different, and I take pride in tailoring each lesson to each student for their specific needs and learning style.
I've tutored 3rd graders through college students, but my ideal students are in the highschool-college range.
My specialty is English literature, but I have experience tutoring Latin, English composition, and rhetoric as well. Whatever you need, I can do!
