About Benjamin
I'm a 21 year-old English student on the Creative Writing track at Colorado College, originally from Weston, Massachusetts. I have spent my whole life working with kids and teaching, whether at summer camp, through tutoring, or in a Special Education classroom.
I'm currently working on a novel and I write short stories regularly. I also write, perform and direct sketch and stand-up comedy. I have four siblings — three little sisters and one older brother — and a dog named Wesley.

After five years of teaching students of all ages, and six months spent teaching five and six year olds with autism, I know that the most important part of education is that the student knows that they are capable of learning anything they want to learn. My goal as a teacher is to show my students how much they can accomplish.
In a typical lesson, we'll review homework or upcoming assignments, gauge where you or your child is struggling, and develop a plan to learn all of the necessary material. I also discuss study habits, because it's important that learning continues even after a lesson has ended.
