About Rosan

Hi!

My name is Rosan and I am 21 years old. I live in Tuk near Steenwijk and follow the HBO teacher training course to become an English teacher at Hogeschool NHL Stenden in Leeuwarden.

I am driven and focused on finding solutions. I am also oriented to what you need and how I can best help you with that. Not only is it important to achieve an end goal, but also the way to get there.

It is very important to me that you become more confident in using the English language. On the basis of drawing up a personal plan, I would like to help you with what you want to work on.

About the lesson

Hello!

Over the past year I have had the opportunity to gain experience in online teaching. I would like to help you feel more confident about applying the English language in different areas such as speaking and writing.

My future field of work is VMBO and lower HAVO/VWO classes. I am currently being trained for this. My tutoring sessions are intended for students aged 12-16 years.

However, I have also tutored teacher training students, so it wouldn't be a problem if you are a little younger or a little older, of course in consultation.

First of all, it is important that I know what you would like to work on. When I know this, I can tailor the tutoring lessons to the topics you would like to see improvement in.

I also aim to make you feel comfortable during the lessons. Everything goes at your pace, and if you have any questions, you can always contact me.

From previous experience I have noticed that you always have to "start up" first during a tutoring session, especially when it comes to practising speaking skills .

That is why I have set up these two options so that you can choose what you feel most comfortable with:

- 60 minutes
- 90 minutes

I can help you in many different areas, such as conversation, grammar and spelling, as well as writing and listening.

If you know what you would like to improve, I would be able to draw up a schedule so that we can work together towards a realistic goal.

This goal will be related to your school level, so that you are prepared for what you need to know and be able to do at school!
