I have two years of experience as an English teacher and I have a podcast that engages listeners with stories and their deeper meanings. My bachelor's degree in biblical studies provides a background in historical literature and a love for stories of all types.

My relational style of teaching and conversational approach helps students feel comfortable with learning to love literature and English. I want to use short stories, novels, and poetry in order to foster a love and understanding for literature in middle and high school students. Students will break down sections of literature in short manageable sections discussing themes, meaning, and understanding. Students are free to ask questions and move at their pace, studying spelling, grammar, and word choice to grow in their understanding of English.
