About Carrie
I have been teaching middle/high school English for 14 years in a public school setting. A few years prior to setting foot in my first classroom, I worked as a Writing Counselor in the Institute for Writing Studies at St. John's University in Queens, NY. It was there that I discovered how much I enjoyed helping students find their voice and communicate their ideas in the way they desired. Since then, I have worked in both New York and New Jersey, and I'm open to meeting new faces from all across the country.
