About Maeve

I have taught thousands of students over the years and building relationships with pupils was always the best part of my job by far. Even if you think you're not good at English, I promise to break the questions down and show you ways to approach essays or shorter questions in a manageable way.

I love my subject, but more importantly love teaching! I will help you learn through fun but with high expectations that you will get the grade you're capable of. I have taught pupils that started as an E grade and went up to a C*. Lessons are for the Northern Ireland CCEA curriculum specifically but I have taught AQA. In addition, I have been an examiner for both Language and Literature marking GCSE exams which makes me even more qualified to know what is needed to pass.
