Methodology

As a previous teacher, I am well aware of the criteria for the GCSE papers and all of my lessons are tailor-made to ensure there is progress in every session.

My approach is friendly and personable and I have a firm belief that relationships are built using mutual respect. My current students would describe me as understanding and 'not like their usual teachers'. They base this on my ability to listen to their needs and struggles, so we can work together to improve. This produces results allowing students to both achieve, and go beyond their target grades.

As a parent myself, I understand both the needs of my students and their caregivers. Teaching can be so much more than target grades and I deliver the necessary transferable skills that all pupils need to pursue their goals and aspirations.
