About Emily
I am a first year studying English Literature at Cambridge University, though I am originally from Sheffield! I have a love for helping people, and have done a lot of outreach events in my short time at university to try and inspire students to apply for top Universities. When I'm not at University, I also enjoy playing the guitar, cooking for my family, and running.

My lessons are usually about an hour long, and are tailored to the needs of my tutee. For example, an English lesson for an A-Level student may focus on discussing the set texts, as well as some extra unseen passage work every week, or a History lesson at GCSE may focus on looking through different types of exam questions, including planning an answer to an exam question.
As I am very flexible, I want my tutees to take the lead and get hands-on with learning, including through more casual discussion for older years, or going through how to write answers step-by-step at GCSE.
Having done tutoring work for the platform Zero Gravity, which focuses on providing support for gifted students from disadvantaged areas, as well as doing some freelance tutoring in-person at home, I am experienced with all levels of ability, and will adjust my lessons to the needs of my tutees.
