About Martha
My name is Martha, and I am a student of English Literature at university level. I have always loved English, but sometimes felt I needed additional assistance and alternative approaches to a text to fully unlock my potential. I not only want to help students feel confident in their work, but also to have faith in their ideas and enjoy the process of exploring texts. I love teaching and always set out to adapt to others' needs wherever I can.

As an English Undergraduate student, I am familiar with the difficulties surrounding GCSEs and A levels and have a variety of approaches to texts and essay development to help any student based on their abilities and weaknesses. Lesson length can be varied from 1-2 hours depending on schedules.
My primary focus will be working with students to determine areas of difficulty in their work and develop ideas about the texts they are writing about. I have experience tutoring other students throughout school in a range of subjects such as English and Spanish.
