About Antarip
I have represented India in International Chess tournaments since I was 12 years of age. My devotion to chess had started at a very young age of seven under the tutelage of the dedicated coaches at the Alekhine Chess Club in Kolkata. I received my first rating (1927) in 2004. I have fifteen years and more experience in coaching the youth for chess in various settings. I have coached in schools and universities in chess-based workshops and have devoted my time as a coach. Among my students I have state champions, national rank holding players, international representees. For the expansion of chess, I have conducted many chess tournaments in the grass roots level to create awareness about the importance of chess in the holistic growth of humans, including the psychological, emotional, and physical. I have qualified my FIDE arbiter exam with 92% and procured my license for senior national arbiter
in 2019.
