About Sophie
I am a student studying biology at university. During my own time doing GCSEs and Alevels, where I got 9 and A*, it became clear how important it is to not only know the content but also being able to communicate that in the way the examiners want. more often than not the barrier to this is confidence! so it is important to me that you come away from my lessons feeling confident in your abilities even if the content was challanging.
I am a friendly, bubbly person who takes academics seriously and would love to help you get to where you want to be.

As a student myself I understand the pressure that exams put on both the student and their parents. My lessons are a relaxed but productive environmemt where we will cover all your problem areas within the course and also solidify the strengths.
I will explain the content ensuring the student has a full understanding and also go through exam questions and skills to make it possible to transfer that knowlege onto paper! I have different methods to ensure the knowlege is solidified such as you 'teaching me' newly learnt content, my mark scheme method and many more depending on what suits you.
My lessons are for GCSE and A-level students (biology) and GCSE level chemistry aiming to improve their grades to match their potential. My lessons vary from 1 -1.5hr depending on your needs. Additional hours can be implemented closer to exam times.
