About B Rene
I have been working with students of all ages for over 20 years, specializing in Elementary education and reading and writing development. I am adept at simplifying complex material for diverse students including ESL support. I have a Master's Degree in Special Education with additional certificates including Literacy Intervention and writing specialist. My goal is to create a positive, supportive environment for students to grow at their own pace, being sure to celebrate accomplishments along the way.

I will begin by attentively listening to the learner's current skills, goals, and challenges, ensuring the lesson is tailored to their unique needs. This approach fosters confidence by building on what the learner already knows, making progress feel achievable and rewarding.
During the session, I emphasize positive reinforcement, celebrating small wins and encouraging the learner to keep pushing forward without fear of mistakes. Lessons are crafted to be engaging and enjoyable, incorporating fun activities such as interactive games, storytelling, or real-life conversations that spark curiosity and make learning memorable.
The overall experience is warm and patient, designed to motivate and inspire. By combining encouragement with interesting content, the session feels less like a task and more like an inviting exploration of language, making each step forward exciting and meaningful.
