About Srija
I am a public health researcher that is very passionate about learning and teaching. Throughout my education, I have always worked part-time as a tutor, nanny, babysitter, or teacher. My mom has been a lead pre-school teacher for 10 + years and I have worked countless hours with younger children to meet them with the understanding and patience they require to succeed. In college and in graduate school I was a lead tutor/teacher's assistant for a total of 5 classes across a variety of subjects, equipping me with the skill set and confidence in my knowledge necessary to succeed across all age groups. As a tutor, I will ensure my students feel empowered, confident, and eager to learn. I love to work as a team and encourage others to creatively find answers to their questions.

Having been a student for over 20 years, I have been exposed to many styles of teaching and mentorship. My diverse and extensive educational background has given me the opportunity to learn from the best educators in the world, which has in turn inspired me to share my knowledge with others. I believe that the key to success is by creating an environment that encourages curiosity and teaches students with kindness, enthusiasm, and patience. Having tutored, babysat, and taught children from ages 4-14, I am confident that I will be able to fulfill the needs of learners at all stages.
