About Jessica
I am a professional musician who works in theatres around the country.
I love to pass on the joy that I have for music to people through teaching. Learning music is such an important skill that translates to other areas in life. It is never too late, or too early, to start learning.
In my career I push the limits of what is possible with musical skills and I show people what can be achieved with hard work and passion.
I am caring and compassionate and take lessons at whatever pace the student desires.

I have a classical approach to teaching, meaning you will learn to read music and improve on fundamental techniques in order to grow and improve.
Lesson lengths are from 30 minutes upwards, depending on your level and needs. These can take place in person or online.

Perfect! My lessons have been great so far. Jessica is a very thoughtful and attentive instructor, guiding me through the fundamentals of technique, rhythm, positioning, sight-reading, etc. She also manages the time well so I learn a lot in a short period. And it's a fun, welcoming, encouraging environment too. Looking forward to more lessons!

Jessica is a great teacher. Very professional. I always feel supported and valued when I leave. Would highly recommend. She is kind, helpful and supportive.
After having group lessons for beginners on the cello, which didn’t work out, I managed to find this excellent tutor. After only a few weeks I have noticed a steady improvement which is the trajectory that we are all hoping for! It’s a pleasure to attend the lessons and I am only sorry that as a mature student, I didn’t find Jessica many years ago. Thoroughly recommended.
Having worked extensively with Jess as a musician, I can undoubtedly vouch for both her skill and knowledge. Her depth of understanding of multiple instruments and her voice combined with her patience and clarity of explanation make her a great tutor!
