About Mathew
Hi, I'm Mat and I am passionate about science and understanding how science explains the world around us. With this enthusiasm and my experiences, my primary aim is to help you succeed and in doing so, enjoy the subject too.
I am currently working within the pharmaceutical industry following completion of my undergrad degree (BSc Biomedical Sciences) and postgrad degrees (MSc and PhD Biochemical Engineering).
From my time as a PhD student, I have plenty of experiences of teaching and mentoring students, and as a manager within the pharma industry I appreciate the value of motivating others to succeed and grow. A key aspect in motivating people is to not only make the learning experience enjoyable, but to also understand the importance of the 'whys' (i.e. why are we learning this? why is this useful?).
