About Tiarnan
I am an enthusiastic, qualified tutor with an excellent range of skills catering to all levels and abilities. A proven track record and excellent results with students often improving by as many as 3 grades over just a couple of months. I am passionate about my subjects and come at tutoring differently, each student is different and I must teach with that in mind. I focus both on new material and revision of previously studied materials, using my extensive notes to give you the best results. I am free to teach all levels and ages, and have multiple child safety qualifications including an enhanced DBS. I have tutored many students with exceptional feedback and recently was listed in the top 3 tutors in over 1000.

If you're looking for that tutor who does things differently and gives you the best, most enjoyable lessons that propel you to your goals, then I'm the tutor for you! My lessons are 100% personalised to each student to achieve the perfect balance between teaching and testing the materials. In the first few lessons we will go through some topics as a warm up and get to know each other so I can find the best styles of teaching and the most common pitfalls in work. From there I spend a considerable amount of time tailoring each lesson to be the most productive and valuable to my students.

If student live particularly far away then I may need to add on a small charge for travel. My rates are flexible so please contact me with any questions. I also am happy to teach at York Library. Cancellation is charged at £10 if less than 24 hours notice given, though for regular students this may be waived.
