About Laura
With the education section of my degree, I gained experience in a wide range of teaching methods and pedagogies, with deep insight into the curriculum for excellence. Through my course placements I have gained experience working with primary and secondary pupils, including those with additional support needs such as dyslexia. Being dyslexic myself I have learned to work with it rather than against it, developing methods and techniques that help to manage dyslexic tendencies when interpreting exam questions, dealing with confusion and managing exam time.

My unique perspective when dealing with mathematics will allow me to relate to the client’s needs and develop a tailored tutoring programme that specifically addresses the desired areas for development in the student.
