About Jonathan
I am originally from Scotland, having both gone to school in the Highlands and university in Aberdeen. Geography was my favourite subject at school along with environmental science, hence why I studied it further and continue to do so.
Over the last few years I have pushed myself further into teaching, from volunteering to employment, and I take great pride and pleasure from helping students develop their own knowledge and skills.
I have spent 9 years volunteering in youth camps and creating engaging lessons for young people. This includes the 2025/2026 academic year spent working as a supply teacher and examiner.

I love all things geography and wish to pass this on in all my lessons.
I have built up skills in developing small group lessons for 1-hour slots, whether it be a seminar or an activity-based Sunday school.
Happy to provide 30-minute lessons to an hour, breaking down and reinforcing geographical concepts for students preparing for secondary school examinations.
If you wish to go over a topic or learn something new, lessons will be structured for you to grasp geography all the better.
