About Emma
I am a friendly and approachable 22-year old female with A-level grades of A*, A, A in Geography, English Literature, and Biology, and a high 2:1 degree in Environmental Science. Having been employed in my industry already, I have a strong outlook on the application of education into real scenarios. I believe this makes my teaching invaluable and unique, particularly as I have a great passion for my subject which is reflected in my teaching.

My teaching techniques follow mostly visual learning and example-led methods to improve the memorising of the subject, as well as regular quizzing. Despite limited experience in tutoring academia, I have taught piano and swimming to children with a range of learning and social needs, requiring patience and adaptability. The length and layout of lessons would be dependent on the pupil's needs and learning styles, but typically 30 minutes to an hour long.
