About Lydia

- My first job was teaching high school students Maths and Biology.
- I am a people's person, I love to meet persons from diverse backgrounds, learn about new cultures, share music and my own travel experiences.
- Coming from a large family with numerous nieces and nephews, and young, hip cousins, I have always found it easy to relate to them by listening to and talking with young people. They have their own ideas and suggestions, and sometimes as adults we tend to shut them out instead of allowing them a platform.
- Sharing my own personal experience of mistakes and growth allows others to understand how life can be both tough but good most of the time.

About the lesson

- One on one Student to Teacher interaction
- I use less Teacher Talk time and more Student feedback on my lessons.
- Use available local resources familiar to the students to get the objectives of the Lesson across
- I use my own experiences in examples of how to pronounce/use the vocabulary/grammar
- I integrate games and quizzes to make learning fun for everyone.
- My lessons are geared for Middle to High School students, but I can also teach older persons if needed.
