About Lexxi
Hello! My name is Lexxi and I am eager to help you reach your English language goals. I love working with people from all over the world with varying levels of English proficiency. I have worked as an ESL teacher for nearly a decade, in and outside of the US. I hold a Master's in TESOL education and have taught in public & private institutions. For the past three years I’ve been teaching adult learners at community college in Columbus, Ohio, where I’m from.

My lessons focus on the four domains of language: reading, writing, speaking & listening. Whatever your unique goals are, I will ensure our time is spent focusing on trusted strategies to improve your language acquisition, while strengthening your confidence. I take time getting to know students and apply their preferred learning styles to our sessions. My lessons are fun, interactive, and valuable in your day-to-day life. My teaching style is laid back with pressure-free learning. This ensures that all students are comfortable practicing their language skills with me. Mistakes are where learning happens!

Details
Before we begin working together, I would love to meet you and discuss your goals for our sessions. This is absolutely free and a way for us to get to know each other a bit before committing. The initial consultation will help me tailor lesson plans specific to your needs. During this time we can discuss goals, areas for improvement, accommodations, and an individualized learning plan. After that, if you decide to commit to working with me, I charge an hourly rate of $35.00 per hour. If you are more than 10 minutes late to a session without communicating, the lesson will be canceled and we will need to reschedule.
