About Anne
I am an experienced piano tutor with 8 years of teaching students from school, college, and working professional backgrounds. I believe that learning piano is a journey that combines technical mastery, musical understanding, and personal expression.
My teaching methodology focuses on patience, clear communication, and personalized instruction. I assess each student’s abilities, learning style, and goals, then create lessons that build strong fundamentals such as finger technique, hand coordination, rhythm, and sight-reading.
I also teach music theory, ear training, and rhythm exercises to develop complete musicianship. Lessons are interactive, creative, and engaging, often including song-based practice, improvisation, and performance opportunities.
I help students overcome challenges, build confidence, maintain consistent practice routines, and cultivate a lifelong love for music. My aim is to provide a positive, motivating, and supportive environment where students can enjoy learning and achieve their full musical potential.

I believe piano learning should be expressive, meaningful, and enjoyable. Flexibility ensures that lessons are tailored to the student’s individual pace and learning style. Alongside piano, I teach related subjects such as music theory, sight-reading, rhythm, and ear development. This approach develops both technical skill and artistic expression, helping students become confident, creative, and well-rounded musicians.
