About Nathan
As a violin tutor with 15+ years of experience, I have successfully taught around 300 students, including high school learners, college students, and adults. My teaching style focuses on patience, clarity, and continuous improvement. I believe every student has the ability to learn music when guided in the right way.
I create lessons that are simple, structured, and easy to follow. I focus on strong fundamentals while also introducing songs and exercises that keep students interested. A key achievement in my teaching journey is seeing students grow from beginners to confident players who enjoy performing. I also help students develop discipline and practice habits that support long-term progress. My goal is to make learning violin a positive and rewarding experience for every student.

I focus on creating a learning experience that is clear, supportive, and motivating. I use simple explanations and real-life examples to teach violin concepts so students can easily understand and remember them. I start with basic skills like posture, scales, and bowing, and then gradually build towards more complex techniques.
I believe every student learns differently, so I adjust my teaching style to suit individual needs. I maintain open communication and encourage students to ask questions without hesitation. I guide them with clear instructions and provide regular feedback to improve their performance.
I also help them develop confidence through consistent practice. I follow values like honesty, patience, and dedication. Along with violin, I also teach music basics, ear training, and rhythm exercises.
